Located at an altitude of 150 m and 12 km from the Pacific, this cool coastal terroir benefits from constant sea breezes that promote slow ripening and great aromatic precision. The grapes, sourced from massal selections of Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin, are hand-harvested and vinified with 40% whole clusters, indigenous yeasts, and cold maceration. Aged for 12 months in French oak. Established in 2002 in Limarí, on the edge of the Atacama Desert, Tabalí is a pioneer of viticulture in this valley. The estate crafts wines that span Chile from east to west within the same valley, from its high-altitude Roca Madre vineyard in the Andes to the coastal Talinay vineyards near the Pacific Ocean. The range is crafted by winemaker Felipe Muller and viticulturist Hector Rojas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn the nose, notes of wild cherry, damp earth, undergrowth, red fruits, fine herbs, rose, sweet spices, and sandalwood. It pairs well with roasted duckling served pink with roasted beetroot and sweet pepper sauce, or crispy sweetbreads with wild mushrooms.
