Casas de Bucalemu is a historic estate initially owned by the Jesuits until 1778 and has remained in the same family ever since. Established in 1858 in the Santo Domingo Valley, 9 km from the Pacific, the current vineyards were planted in 2008. The estate practices organic and manual viticulture on mineral-rich limestone soils.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn the nose, saline and marine aromas, combined with notes of citrus and white flowers, with a touch of Mediterranean herbs and flint. On the palate, a lively freshness with a tense acidity, the intense minerality evoking flavors of iodine, flint, and chalk. It pairs well with oysters with ginger and lime or a white fish tartare with sesame oil.
