The clusters were destemmed without crushing, clarified, fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, and then aged for 2 months on fine lees. Viu Manent is a family-owned house founded in 1935, renowned for its wines from the Colchagua Valley. The acquisition of its three vineyards in Colchagua in 1960, including San Carlos de Cunaco, the cradle of centenarian Malbec vines, forged the estate's identity.
