Blending 83% Malbec and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are hand-harvested and sorted three times, then aged for 15 months in untoasted French oak foudres (55%) and French barrels (45%). Viu Manent is a family-owned house founded in 1935, renowned for its wines from the Colchagua Valley. The acquisition of its three vineyards in Colchagua in 1960, including San Carlos de Cunaco, the cradle of centenarian Malbec vines, forged the estate's identity.
