De Herder 2022, meaning "the shepherd" in Dutch, is a masterful South African blend (60% Shiraz, 29% Cinsaut, 11% Mourvèdre) from the prestigious Kleinood winery in Stellenbosch. Just as a shepherd carefully guides his flock, this wine is crafted with meticulous attention from select vineyard parcels. This medium-bodied wine displays an elegant medium ruby color, revealing a complex bouquet of sour cherry, blackberry, and subtle notes of thyme and black pepper.
