History
With the Juliette 2017 cuvée, Bruno Cazes continues the legacy of the family estate founded in 1895, a pioneer of organic and biodynamic practices in Roussillon. The grapes come from the clay-limestone terraces at the foot of the Corbières, a sun-drenched terroir swept by the Tramontane wind, ideal for revealing the generosity of Muscat.
Vinification
Made from a blend of Muscat of Alexandria (70%) and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains (30%), this natural sweet wine is carefully vinified: direct pressing, low-temperature fermentation, and mutage in the liquid phase to preserve primary aromas. Aging on fine lees for 4–5 months adds texture and balance, followed by rapid bottling to maintain brightness and freshness.
Tasting Notes
The pale gold color reveals a floral and fruity nose, combining ripe citrus, exotic fruits, and subtle menthol hints. On the palate, it is round and fresh, finishing with an elegantly spiced note.
Ideal as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with Roquefort, a white fruit tart, or a vanilla dessert. Serve chilled (8–10 °C).
