L'Esprit de Maucoil is the result of an exceptional selection of the 13 grape varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Vaccarèse, Muscardin, and more. This prestigious cuvée is only produced in exceptional years and from the estate's oldest vines (70 years old on average). With an exceptional yield of around 15 hl/ha, the grapes are hand-harvested in 15 kg crates, and sorted berry by berry before vinification.
On the nose, the aromas are deep and complex. Notes of kirsch and strawberry jam emerge, underlined by fine toasted notes that enhance the wine's complexity. On the palate, the tannins are polished and the remarkable freshness elegantly supports aromas of black fruits and garrigue. This is a wine of great amplitude, superbly balanced, refined and rich with beautiful aging potential.
To be enjoyed on grand occasions, served between 17-18°C. Decanting is recommended. Perfect with festive cuisine, pepper steak, or gourmet dishes. Exceptional aging potential: 15+ years.

France
The Rhône Valley is a historic cradle of French winemaking, stretching from Lyon to Provence and home to over 5,000 estates. In the north, steep hillsides yield intensely expressive Syrahs (Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage) and outstanding whites like Condrieu, made from Viognier. Further south, the diversity of soils—rolled pebbles, sand, and slopes—gives rise to powerful, generous reds (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas) based on Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah. A gastronomic heartland, the region offers endless unforgettable food and wine pairings.
