Domaine Delalex is the sole independent producer in the Marin appellation, an exceptional cru located on the shores of Lake Geneva (Lac Léman). The Chasselas vines thrive on a terroir of glacial moraines and silty-limestone soils, benefiting from the microclimate tempered by the lake. The Tradition cuvée reflects the pure identity of this lake-side terroir.
To preserve the typical liveliness of Chasselas ("le Fendant" in neighboring Switzerland), the vinification is done exclusively in stainless steel tanks after a gentle pneumatic pressing. The estate chooses not to carry out malolactic fermentation, thus preserving all the tension, freshness, and natural perlant (slight spritz) of the wine.
This Marin 2024 offers an entry on the palate full of finesse, marked by delicate aromas of almonds, peach, and white fruits. The finish is frank, straight, and saline, typical of Marin wines. It is the ideal companion for fried lake perch, trout with almonds, or a soft cheese like Reblochon.

France
Savoie is a mountainous French wine region located near the Swiss border. The region is very fragmented by its mountainous terrain. The cool climate of Savoie dictates the predominance of crisp white wines produced in the region. Despite the difficulty of reds to mature in this type of climate, Savoie is the home of Mondeuse, a red grape variety used to make wines with a significant bitterness.
Jana - Local Nose
The perfect little white wine for fondue! It is light, slightly spritzy, and very thirst-quenching. You can really sense the gunflint note.
