At Domaine Justine Baudry, each cuvée is inspired by one of the four elements, reflecting the harmony between the vine and nature. "Les pieds sur terre" (Feet on the ground) pays homage to the Earth element, symbolizing the solidity and deep anchoring of the roots in the terroir. This Gamay comes from the place known as "La Fosse Blanche," where 30-year-old vines thrive on a soil composed of sand over clay.
Faithful to an environmentally conscious approach, the estate practices organic farming, without chemical weed killers, with mechanical tilling of the soil and manual harvesting. The vinification favors the fruit thanks to a carbonic maceration of 7 to 10 days, followed by a meticulous aging of 6 to 8 months in barrels, a method that brings structure and finesse to this wine produced in limited quantity (1,500 bottles).
Upon tasting, this red Touraine seduces with its aromas of crisp red fruits heightened by a slightly spicy touch. On the palate, it offers an irresistible indulgence, combining roundness and lightness, supported by a subtle freshness and an elegant finish. A wine for immediate pleasure, ideal to serve between 14 and 17°C.

France
The Loire Valley is an important French wine region that follows the course of the river. Thanks to the vastness of the region, the Loire offers a great diversity of very fresh and lively wines. The region is primarily a producer of white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc or Melon de Bourgogne but is also increasing its production of qualitative red wines.

A Gamay full of life! I love this crisp red fruit character and this slight spicy note. It's a very digestible organic wine, perfect for an aperitif dinner among friends.
