History
A true guardian of old vintages, the Dom Brial winery preserves patiently aged oxidative treasures in its cellars. The 1969 vintage is part of the prestigious "9" series, illustrating the nobility of great amber Rivesaltes. It is distinguished by 3 stars and a "Coup de Cœur" from the Guide Hachette, the highest possible honor.
Vinification
Crafted primarily from Macabeu and white and grey Grenache. Produced via direct pressing and fortification (mutage) with neutral alcohol. The aging process was extended for over forty years in ancient oak vats (foudres), allowing for the development of complex oxidative aromas and an elegant rancio.
Tasting
Its deep amber robe with golden highlights heralds a sumptuous nose of prunes, walnuts, dried fruits, thyme, and rosemary. The palate, entirely smooth and supple, reveals a generous palette where honey, cocoa, candied citrus, and silky oak intertwine. The finish is long and fresh.

France
