DESCRIPTION
Domaine Nico is the first winery to showcase the potential of high-altitude Pinot Noir from Argentina’ peaks. Thigh-altitude provides the wine with tension and grace. The Grand Père parcel is shaded, with delicate red fruits and high acidity. The wine has intense, engaging aromas of dried cherries, grilled plums, chocolate, hazelnuts, dried orange peel and nutmeg.

REGION
Mendoza
Argentina

Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina. Located on a high plateau on the edge of the Andes, the province is responsible for approximately 70% of the country's annual wine production. The French grape variety Malbec has its New World home in the vineyards of Mendoza, producing red wines of great concentration and intensity. While Malbec is undoubtedly the star of the region, there are also numerous plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Syrah, Torrontes and Sauvignon Blanc.
