From the Lannepax terroir, the historical cradle of Armagnac, the Baron Gaston Legrand 1993 vintage embodies the timeless nobility of the Ténarèze region. Patiently aged in oak barrels, this Cask Strength (Brut de Fût) testifies to the ancestral expertise of the house founded over a century ago, now under the aegis of Maison Cognac Lhéraud.
The Vinification
Distilled according to traditional methods, this Armagnac has benefited from a long aging in oak barrels for over thirty years. The clay-limestone soil of Ténarèze allowed this eau-de-vie (spirit) to develop a solid structure and a powerful character. The Cask Strength (Brut de Fût) bottling preserves the concentration of aromas, revealing all the roundness and refinement of this vintage.
The Tasting
The Ténarèze Armagnac 1993, in the Cask Strength (Brut de Fût) version, is distinguished by its roundness and refinement. It reveals a powerful nose with complex aromas of spice butter, dried fruits, walnut, prune, and vanilla. On the palate, the attack is direct and balanced, supported by rich and elegant tannins. Subtle and aromatic, this eau-de-vie offers a harmonious, persistent, and delicately spicy finish.

Après le Piémont et la Vénétie, la Toscane produit le troisième plus grand volume de vins DOC/DOCG. Plus de 80 % de la production de la région est constituée de vins rouges, le Sangiovese étant le cépage le plus répandu en Toscane. Le Chianti, le Chianti Classico, le Brunello di Montalcino, le Vino Nobile di Montepulciano et le Super Tuscan sont les vins les plus connus de la Toscane.
