Two longtime friends, passionate winemakers, decided to work together to create two authentic terroir wines in their Douro region. This collaboration gave birth to Pingolé, a sincere expression of an exceptional terroir.
Born from a unique parcel of 60+ year-old vines in the Tàvora valley, this Douro red blends over 20 traditional grape varieties for remarkable complexity. Hand-harvested and aged 18 months in French oak barrels, it reveals a deep ruby color with aromas of black cherry, wild truffle, pink pepper and violet. On the palate, silky tannins balance with vibrant acidity for a long, elegant finish. An age-worthy wine that pairs beautifully with grilled meats and aged cheeses.
