Tai Tira, ‘Sea Traveller’ in Māori, is fitting for this vineyard. New Zealand is a land of shared journeys and the winemakers aim to share their wine with the rest of the world. Tai Tira’s terroir is fed by the pristine waters of the Waihopai and Wairau Valleys, located on the South Island. This Sauvignon Blanc took its time to ripen, but with patience comes perfection. This wine delivers on all fronts. Freshly picked white flesh fruits, lime and elderflower give you a taste of sweet summer. Meanwhile, the palate is a breeze, with its crisp minerality. A perfect wine for a tomato tart, shellfish, or a fresh salad with goat cheese.
