DESCRIPTION
This Barolo is an ode to Serralunga d’Alba, a historic and intense terroir of Piedmont. Made exclusively from Nebbiolo grown between 300 and 350 meters in altitude on southeast- and southwest-facing slopes, it undergoes extended aging (18 to 36 months) in large oak casks from the Fontainebleau forest.
The nose blends cocoa, dark chocolate, ripe raspberry, plum, and black pepper, delivering a warm and nuanced aromatic profile. On the palate, it reveals a savory, juicy texture, with mid-palate sweetness that perfectly balances the structure of the grape variety.
This Barolo pairs beautifully with creamy polenta and mushrooms, a touch of grilled blood sausage, a roasted vegetable tagine, or a slowly cooked aged beef cut.
