DESCRIPTION

Stark-Condé Stellenbosch Syrah is a Syrah from the Jonkershoek Valley estate, crafted from high-altitude vineyards managed through organic and artisanal methods. The Stark-Condé estate is renowned for its elegant and complex wines, thanks to top-quality grapes and masterful aging.

On the nose, black fruits, pepper, and toasted notes. On the palate, powerful and harmonious with a remarkably lingering finish. Pairs beautifully with grilled red meats and Mediterranean dishes.

REGION

Stellenbosch

South Africa

Stellenbosch is arguably the most prestigious wine region in South Africa. Located in the coastal region of the Western Cape, east of Cape Town, it enjoys a Mediterranean climate tempered by sea breezes and sheltered by the surrounding mountains. Its varied terroir of granite, schist and sandy soils makes it possible to produce both powerful reds and elegant whites.
While Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux blends (with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) built its reputation, Stellenbosch is also known for its refined Chenin Blanc, distinguished Chardonnay and expressive Syrah. Home to many iconic estates, the appellation remains a showcase of South African craft.
