History
Founded in 1923 in Baixas, the Dom Brial winery has established itself as a benchmark for the naturally sweet wines of Roussillon. The 1999 Rivesaltes Ambré Grande Réserve embodies this expertise, following nearly twenty years of patient aging in large oak vats (foudres) and then in bottles. Awarded numerous medals, this vintage illustrates the elegance and longevity of the great Rivesaltes.
Vinification
Crafted from Macabeu, Grenache Blanc, and Grenache Gris, this wine was obtained by fortification during fermentation to preserve the natural sugars of the grapes. A long oxidative aging process in old oak vats shaped its aromatic richness, complemented by refinement in the bottle.
Tasting
Its old-gold color with coppery highlights signals great complexity. The nose blends candied fruits, orange peel, and dried fruits. On the palate, it proves to be full-bodied and harmonious, balancing sweetness and freshness, with a persistent finish of walnut, honey, and elegant rancio.

Bruno Cazes - Local Nose
A masterful amber wine, acclaimed and highly sought-after, revealing a rare harmony of honey, candied orange, and noble rancio.
