Vasse Felix is a winery that focuses on quality and leads with a minimal intervention approach. The Filius Chardonnay is vibrant and focused, with a natural acidity that will make your mouth water. Simultaneously fruit-driven and savoury, notes of nashi pear, ripe peach, green apple and citrus peel are undercut with jasmine and limestone. The creamy, smooth palate is typical of an Australian Chardonnay, displaying lemon curd, green pawpaw and grapefruit. Winding up with salinity and freshness, this is a delicate, balanced and complex wine. Think seafood, fish and salad!
