Viu Manent Secret Sauvignon Blanc 2025 comes from the Litueche sector, in the northern coastal part of the Valle de Colchagua, 18 km from the Pacific Ocean, blending 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Secreto on granitic soils enriched with quartz. The 2025 vintage, following a rainy winter followed by a warm season, produced concentrated and balanced grapes. The clusters were destemmed without crushing, clarified, fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, and then aged for 2 months on fine lees. Viu Manent is a family-owned house founded in 1935, renowned for its wines from the Colchagua Valley. The acquisition of its three vineyards in Colchagua in 1960, including San Carlos de Cunaco, the cradle of centenarian Malbec vines, forged the estate's identity. Today managed by the third generation and certified vegan, Viu Manent has been ranked among the World's Best Vineyards for seven consecutive years.
On the nose, expressive aromas of white fruits and a subtle mineral note. On the palate, fresh and elegant, with a beautiful texture, a vibrant tension, and a savory and mineral finish. It pairs well with oysters and grilled seafood, or delicate white fish and a ceviche. Serve between 6 and 8°C. Aging potential of 3 years.
Chili
The Central Valley of Chile is the wine region in South America with the largest volume of wine production. A wide variety of wine styles and qualities can be found in this vast region, from many different terroirs. These range from the fashionable Bordeaux-style wines produced in the northern Maipo, to the older and more established vineyards of Maule; from the coastal plains of western Colchagua to the Andean foothills of Puente Alto.
