Italy
Puglia, Italy's third-largest wine-growing region, is renowned for its powerful, sun-drenched red wines, made from indigenous grape varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro and Bombino Nero. The dry, sun-drenched terroir of southern Italy produces full-bodied, ripe-fruited wines, perfect for accompanying Mediterranean dishes. Long underestimated, Puglia's red wines are now seducing wine-lovers in search of fine Italian discoveries at affordable prices.
A découvrir absolument.
Bright red fruit, hints of orange peel, crushed rock, and dried rose petals define this expressive Etna Rosso. It's light on its feet but deeply complex, offering great balance and subtle power. A wine of place and precision.
The 2017 Etna Rosso from Giovanni Rosso delivers refined red cherry, wild strawberry, and dried herbs, all underpinned by a smoky volcanic minerality. Silky yet structured, with taut acidity and fine-grained tannins, this is a soulful Nerello Mascalese that whispers rather than shouts.
Lovely structure for the price. Red cherry and wild herbs on the nose, with a smoky mineral finish that lingers. Had it with roast duck—absolutely perfect. Great value for money.

Nice minerality, very typical of volcanic terroir.
