Talk about an A+ student in concentrated aromas. Here, we've got hints of red berries and fine spices, with a liquorice finish. The tanins are velvety to the tongue. This wine is picked from vines with a very-low yield, and only once the grapes have fully matured and ripened. The Tradition 2022 is made up of 40% Syrah, 30% Grenache Noir and 30% Carignan. The perfect partner in crime for Mediterranean dishes and barbecues.

Languedoc Roussillon is one of the largest wine regions in France, on the border with Spain. Its size goes hand in hand with a remarkable diversity of soils and terroirs, all bathed in a warm, sunny Mediterranean climate that is especially favourable to vines. This richness also shows in the grapes grown, from Cabernet Sauvignon to Carignan for reds, and from Grenache Blanc to Bourboulenc for whites.
Roussillon in particular also stands out for a historic, deeply local speciality: vins doux naturels (VDN). Made from grapes such as Grenache, Macabeu and Muscat, these wines are fortified during fermentation to keep part of their natural sugars. Iconic appellations such as Banyuls, Maury, Rivesaltes and Muscat de Rivesaltes offer an incredible range of styles, from the fruitiest to the most oxidative, perfect as an aperitif or with cheese and desserts.
