Did you know that Mataro in French is called Mourvèdre? Well, now you know! This 2016 vintage is a bit on the wild and rustic side, with its penetrating notes of tar (we swear this is good), wild berries, black peppercorn and dried spices. Here is a spicy red, with an attitude and fast and loose tannins. Drink this bad boy with a ratatouille, a leg of lamb, or a Shepherd's pie!
