The Story

Since 1810, Maison Lhéraud has embodied the art of vintage cognac with rare demanding standards. Located in Angeac, between Grande and Petite Champagne, it crafts spirits faithful to their terroir, distilled in a Charentais still and aged slowly in Limousin oak barrels. This 1982 vintage, sourced exclusively from the Petite Champagne cru, illustrates the Lhéraud style in all its nobility: balance, finesse, and depth.

The Vinification

Distilled in 1982, this cognac has benefited from prolonged aging in oak barrels, promoting micro-oxygenation and the full development of aromas. Notes of spiced butter, dried fruits, wood, vanilla, and chocolate harmonize with rich tannins, offering an ample, velvety, and perfectly balanced texture. The Petite Champagne terroir ensures finesse, aging potential, and aromatic typicity.

The Tasting

Amber in color, the Lhéraud Petite Champagne Cognac 1982 seduces with its power and refined balance. The long, subtly spiced finish reveals remarkable freshness for its age. An exceptional cognac, ideal for tasting or for keeping as a cellar treasure.
