Bodega Noemia A-Lisa 2024 is a cool-climate Patagonian Malbec, sourced from old pre-phylloxera vines located in the village of Mainqué, in the heart of the Alto Valle del Río Negro. A blend of 90% Malbec, 9% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, it is aged for 8 months in stainless steel tanks (85%) and used oak barrels (15%). It features a precise and low-intervention approach, highlighting fruit purity and natural freshness. Bodega Noemia, located in the Río Negro Valley of Patagonia, was founded by Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano and winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers, with a first vintage in 2001. With the estate acquired in 2004, their methods respect nature: manual harvesting, meticulous sorting, and spontaneous fermentation. Organic certification by Ecocert, biodynamic practices.
On the nose, a clean and precise profile of fresh red and black fruits, complemented by floral notes and a discreet spicy touch. On the palate, balanced and juicy, with fine and silky tannins, a well-integrated acidity, and a fresh, elegant, and persistent finish. It pairs well with roasted lamb or beef Bourguignon. Serve between 14 and 16°C. Aging potential of 15 years.
Argentina
Between 38° and 45° south latitude, Patagonia is among the world's southernmost vineyards. Cool climate, constant winds and alluvial soils, sometimes calcareous, produce wines of remarkable natural purity and acidity. Under the Patagonia Argentina appellation, three zones stand out: Río Negro for its elegant wines, Neuquén for their power, and Chubut, the southernmost, for their aromatic freshness. Malbec, the king grape variety, offers a fresher and more elegant style there than in the rest of the country, alongside Pinot Noir, Merlot and crystalline whites.
Patricio - Local Nose
This fresh and fruity Malbec is Noemia's entry-level wine, a beautiful introduction to the estate.
