DESCRIPTION
Parker Coonawarra Estate Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 celebrates the perfect marriage between the distinctive soils of Coonawarra and the noble Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Sourced from eight unique blocks of the Abbey vineyard at Parker Estate, located in southern Coonawarra, this wine benefits from an exceptional microclimate that extends grape ripening, thereby refining the tannins and intensifying the aromatic richness. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (40% new). It features 14.5% ABV, pH 3.52, and 5.8 g/L total acidity.
On the nose, bramble and blackcurrant, with some red fruit notes like pomegranate and cranberry, blending with spicy touches. On the palate, intense and vibrant. The mid-palate is full and balanced, with fine and silky tannins. Ideal pairing with a pepper steak or sautéed mushrooms. Aging potential of 15 years and more.
