REGION
Colchagua Valley
Chili

The Colchagua Valley, in central Chile, is one of the most promising wine regions in South America. Some of Chile's most prestigious wines come from the Colchagua Valley: Casa Lapostolle's "Clos Apalta", Montes' "Folly" Syrah and Vina Casa Silva's "Altura" are obvious examples. And if there were still any doubts about the valley's reputation, both in Chile and abroad, the presence of the Los Vascos winery in Peralillo, a joint venture between Santa Rita and the Rothschilds of Bordeaux, allows to dispel them.
