Steeped in a rich and long tradition of winemaking since 1703, the Colla family presents Bussia Riserva, a wine produced in limited quantities because it renders homage to Beppe Colla, a pioneer in Piemontese wine-making. Made from 100% Nebbiolo and only in exceptional years, it is harvested manually, undergoes malolactic fermentation before being transferred to oak barrels for 24-28 months. Specifically, the 2015 vintage then spends 42 months in bottles before distribution. Its intense garnet red color offers an elegant bouquet of dried flowers, spiced and sweet fruits and incense on the nose. On the palate, red ripe fruits, spicy notes and truffle aromas give this full-bodied and tannic red wine a perfect profile to pair with red meats, game and pasta.
