The Vinification

This 2005 vintage is the result of traditional distillation in an Armagnac still, followed by patient aging in Gascon oak barrels. The unique terroir of the sables fauves (tawny sands) imparts its finesse and structure to this eau-de-vie. The slow interaction with the wood has allowed its aromatic richness to develop while preserving a remarkable freshness for this vintage.

The Tasting
