The Privilège 2009 in magnum format represents the ultimate expression of this emblematic cuvée. Made from the 13 grape varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with a dominance of Grenache (50%), this wine benefited from 18 months aging in demi-muids, followed by several years of bottle maturation. The magnum format allowed for slow and harmonious evolution, preserving all the complexity and freshness of the wine.
On the nose, the bouquet is deep and evolved, revealing notes of ripe black fruits, oriental spices, aged leather and garrigue. The aging has brought nuances of roasted tonka bean and undergrowth. On the palate, the texture is spherical and generous, with weathered tannins that coat the palate. The persistent finish reveals all the nobility of this exceptional vintage.
Serve between 17-18°C on grand occasions. Decanting will reveal its full splendor. Perfect with festive dishes: wild boar stew, beef Wellington, or an exceptional cheese platter. This magnum is at its peak and will continue to evolve magnificently for another 5 to 8 years.

France
The Rhône Valley is a historic cradle of French winemaking, stretching from Lyon to Provence and home to over 5,000 estates. In the north, steep hillsides yield intensely expressive Syrahs (Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage) and outstanding whites like Condrieu, made from Viognier. Further south, the diversity of soils—rolled pebbles, sand, and slopes—gives rise to powerful, generous reds (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas) based on Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah. A gastronomic heartland, the region offers endless unforgettable food and wine pairings.
