From the exceptional 2022 vintage, Kanonkop Kadette Pinotage expresses all the nobility of Stellenbosch's granitic hillsides. This flagship from the fourth-generation Sauer family reveals the expertise of a legendary estate founded in 1910.
On the nose, it seduces with intense red and black fruit aromas, enhanced by vanilla, cinnamon and four-spice. The palate, full-bodied and perfectly balanced, reveals fine tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels, it embodies South African excellence. A wine of character to serve with duck tataki with sweet spices or pork gyozas with cherry compote. Its aging potential of 5 to 7 years promises beautiful evolution.
