Bricco del Drago 2020 is a distinctive Langhe Rosso crafted by Poderi Colla, with a truly unique personality. This uncommon blend of 85% Dolcetto and 15% Nebbiolo captures the richness of Piedmont in a wine that is both bold and elegant. Each grape variety is vinified separately before being aged for 12 to 18 months in large oak casks.
The wine shows a deep ruby color with violet hues. The nose opens with notes of morello cherry, plum, dark chocolate, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and juicy, with ripe tannins, a long finish, and a hint of licorice.
Perfect with slow-cooked meats, game, or artisanal pizza, Bricco del Drago can also be cellared until 2030.

Italy
Piedmont is one of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions, especially renowned for its red wines made from Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes. Nebbiolo, the region’s emblematic varietal, is the source of its most celebrated wines, including the iconic Barolo and Barbaresco.
Both made from 100% Nebbiolo, these wines stand out for their distinct styles. Barolo is powerful and structured, with a deep, full-bodied palate built for aging. Barbaresco, more approachable in its youth, charms with its elegance and brightness. Two expressions of the same grape, shaped by exceptional terroirs.
This unique blend (predominantly Dolcetto with Nebbiolo) offers dark fruit, leather, and a hint of tobacco. The 2020 vintage shows power and poise in equal measure—a true expression of Piedmont’s depth beyond Barolo and Barbaresco.
The 2020 Bricco del Drago is a compelling Langhe red that blends the finesse of Dolcetto with the structure of Nebbiolo. Expect layers of ripe black cherry, dried herbs, and earthy spice, with a firm yet polished tannin structure and a long, savoury finish.
Deep ruby color with intense aromas of dried cherry, tobacco, and forest floor. On the palate, it’s full-bodied but balanced—blackberries, a hint of cocoa, and fine tannins. Paired it with mushroom risotto and it was sublime. Definitely one to cellar a few years.
William - Local Nose
Powerful but refined blend, with notes of dark fruits and cocoa.
