From the historic heart of Tuscany, this Chianti Classico from Rocca delle Macie embodies excellence and Italian winemaking tradition. Crafted primarily from the Sangiovese grape, this wine displays a deep ruby color with garnet reflections. Its intense and complex nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, notably cherries and plums, intertwined with notes of sweet spices and undergrowth. On the palate, the attack is full and silky, giving way to well-balanced tannins. The finish, long and elegant, is marked by notes of candied fruits and a characteristic balsamic touch.

Tuscany is Italy's third most vine-planted region (behind Sicily and Apulia) but it is eighth in terms of output, reflecting both its poor soil and deliberate efforts to limit yields but increase the quality of the wine.
