Marisco The Ned Chardonnay 2021 comes from the shaly and clay-loam soils of Marlborough. Aged for 9 months in oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, it combines richness and freshness in a balanced and accessible style. Brent Marris, founder of The Ned, embodies the "To be young at heart" philosophy.
The nose reveals aromas of nectarine, enhanced by delicate touches of vanilla, sweet spices, and lightly buttered popcorn. The palate is balanced with an opulent texture and a beautiful persistent freshness until the finish. Best enjoyed with a smoked kingfish salad or a roasted chicken with truffle and parmesan cream.
