‘Les Narvaux’ is a Meursault, a prestigious appellation in the Burgundy region of France. This white wine highlights the finesse and complexity of a wine aged on lees. For 18 months, this Chardonnay is aged on lees - those dead yeasts at the bottom of the barrel that enrich its bouquet and contribute to the fullness of its body. Before the wine is bottled, it is placed in stainless steel tanks for blending. The wine is then bottled following the rules of the lunar calendar. Here is a balanced wine, which boasts a beautiful length on the palate. Les Narvaux reveals aromas of white flowers and almonds. In its earlier years, this Meursault releases hints of flint. On the palate, it is both complex and elegant. A wine to enjoy with salmon, scallops, a mushroom risotto or mussels in a cream sauce.
