History
From the black schists of the Agly Valley, this Maury Tuilé Vieille Réserve 1984 is the result of the collective expertise of the Vignerons de Maury, a cooperative founded in 1910. Aged for nearly forty years, it reflects an exceptional era and terroir. In this wine, each vintage preserves the memory of a sunny, wind-swept Roussillon, where Grenache reveals its full generosity.
Vinification
Grenache Noir harvested at optimal ripeness. Long maceration on the skins, mutage with grape spirit during fermentation. Oxidative aging in old oak casks allows the wine to develop noble rancio aromas.
Tasting Notes
Dark tawny robe with copper highlights. Nose marked by dried fruits (fig, walnut), blond tobacco, and gentle spices. On the palate, concentrated body balanced by fresh liveliness. The persistent finish combines cocoa, candied orange, and elegant rancio. Perfect with game in sauce or a dark chocolate dessert.

France
