El Esteco Don David Reserve Torrontes 2024 comes from vineyards cultivated at an altitude of over 1,800 meters in the Calchaquí Valley, in Salta. Founded in 1892 by French immigrants, the El Esteco winery is one of the pioneers of this region shaped by the sun and mountains. The Torrontés benefits from partial aging for 6 months in used French oak barrels (10%), on alluvial soils where the diurnal temperature variation preserves its aromatic freshness.
On the nose, this wine opens with aromas of orange blossom, rose, and vanilla. On the palate, it is lively and balanced, offering a beautiful freshness with pleasant citrus notes. Natural pairings lean towards spicy Asian dishes, ceviche, and sushi. Estimated aging potential of 3 years.
