DESCRIPTION
Savage Savage White 2024 is a refined blend of 71% Sauvignon Blanc and 29% Semillon, sourced from three parcels located on sandstone and granite soils at altitudes ranging from 213 to 677m in the Western Cape. Meticulously vinified and aged in barrels and concrete eggs, followed by a finishing period in stainless steel tanks, it features 14% alcohol and 1.5 g/L of residual sugar.
On the nose, white flowers, pear, blackcurrant leaf, and grapefruit, enhanced by delicate oaky and flinty notes. On the palate, taut and precise, with an umami salinity, a silky texture, and remarkable length. Ideal with risottos, Asian cuisine, or poultry in a cream sauce. Aging potential of 10 years.
