DESCRIPTION
Air de Claret produces an original Crémant de Bordeaux, born from a 30-hectare vineyard on clay and limestone soils. 70% of the plots are on south-facing slopes, while the rest are on plateaus. The vines are 35 to 40 years old, and the estate is certified High Environmental Value (HVE).
This Blanc de Noirs is crafted 100% from Cabernet Franc, hand-harvested in crates. It follows the traditional method, with a second fermentation in the bottle followed by approximately 12 months of aging on lees. Only 3,012 bottles were produced. It received a bronze medal at the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards.
The pale yellow color is enlivened by fine, steady bubbles. The nose blends ripe apple and quince paste. On the palate, it combines volume, smoothness, and a delicate liveliness.
