Exceptional cuvée from Gomez Cruzado, Viña Dorana 2017 reveals the art of traditional Rioja aging. From old gobelet-trained vines in Alto Najerilla (600-710m altitude), this cuvée was born from the earliest harvest ever recorded in Rioja, producing exceptionally fragrant and balanced wines.
On the nose, it seduces with aromas of ripe red fruits accompanied by licorice and an elegant light oaky note. The palate is distinguished by its beautiful structure with supple and perfectly integrated tannins. Aged 24 months in used French barrels then 12 months in bottle, it embodies the patience of traditional Rioja.
A wine of character to serve with mushroom risotto or grilled ribeye. Its aging potential of 10 years promises remarkable evolution, testifying to the excellence of the 2017 vintage.
