DESCRIPTION
Yarra Yering Chardonnay 2021 is crafted by Yarra Yering, one of the oldest estates in the Yarra Valley, founded in 1969 by Dr. Bailey Carrodus. Chardonnay fermented with indigenous yeasts without malolactic fermentation. Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels (30% new). Cellaring potential of 10 years.
On the nose, white flowers, grapefruit peel, pear, and lemongrass, with hints of oak and oyster shell. On the palate, balanced and generous, beautiful fruit flavors, crisp citrus acidity. Pairs with sushi, sashimi, or chicken green curry.
