Coravin: savor wine by the glass, pressure-free

Opening a fine bottle for just a single glass often means missing out. Coravin changes that. The principle is simple: protect wine from oxygen, its main enemy once a bottle is opened. Still wine systems use argon, a neutral, inert gas that does not affect the wine's taste. For sparkling wines, CO₂ maintains the pressure and the bubbles.

Which Coravin should you choose?

Coravin Timeless Six+: for cellar-worthy wines

A precision needle passes through the natural cork without removing it. Argon takes the place of the wine poured, then the cork reseals naturally. The remaining wine continues to age as if the bottle had never been opened. It is the choice for enthusiasts who enjoy following a wine's evolution over the months. A dedicated accessory also makes it compatible with screw caps.

Coravin Pivot+: for everyday enjoyment

The Pivot+ is used with all still wine bottles, regardless of the closure. You remove the original cork, replace it with the Pivot stopper, and the wine remains protected for up to 4 weeks. Ideal for keeping several bottles open and varying your pleasures throughout the week.

Coravin Sparkling: for champagnes and sparkling wines

The Sparkling stopper seals the bottle airtight, then the charger refills it with CO₂. Aromas and bubbles are preserved for at least 4 weeks, up to Magnum size. A glass of champagne on a Tuesday evening becomes possible, without wasting the rest.

Pure argon capsules: the essential to keep going

Pure capsules recharge all Coravin systems. Each pack contains 6 capsules, and one capsule allows you to pour approximately 15 to 20 glasses.

The aerator: 90 minutes of decanting in one motion

The Timeless Six+ and Pivot+ come with an aerator. Placed at the time of pouring, it instantly reveals the wine's aromas and provides the equivalent of 90 minutes of decanting.

Frequently asked questions about Coravin

What is the difference between the Timeless Six+ and the Pivot+?

The Timeless pierces the cork without removing it, making it suitable for wines you want to age. The Pivot+ is used once the bottle is open, with its own reusable stopper, and protects the wine for up to 4 weeks.

Does Coravin alter the taste of the wine?

No. Argon is a neutral, inert gas: it protects the wine from oxidation without altering its taste.
