The Petit Chablis from Domaine Alain Geoffroy is a perfect introduction to the freshness of wines from the Chablis region. Sourced from young vines (about 10 years old) planted on plateaus overlooking the valley, this wine draws its character from the Kimmeridgian limestone soil. The 2023 vintage stands out for its elegance and benefited from a short aging of 6 months in tanks to preserve all its brilliance.
Vinified in a classic manner in temperature-controlled tanks, this Petit Chablis favors the purity of the fruit. Malolactic fermentation is carried out to round out the natural liveliness of the grape variety, thus offering a supple and silky texture while keeping a fresh backbone. It is a wine of immediate pleasure, praised by the Guide Hachette 2026.
Upon tasting, it unveils a pale and brilliant green-gold color. The nose is a whirlwind of floral scents and ripe yellow fruits. On the palate, liveliness dominates with precise notes of lemon and lemongrass, supported by a fine minerality. The finish leaves a fresh and fragrant sensation, perfect for awakening the taste buds.
France
Burgundy, located in eastern France, is one of the world's most emblematic wine-growing regions, renowned for its elegant, fine and complex wines. Its semi-continental climate, marked by contrasting seasons, and its mineral-rich clay-limestone soils provide an exceptional terroir for its two king grape varieties: Pinot Noir for reds, and Chardonnay for whites. Alongside them, more discreet varieties such as Gamay and Aligoté complete the vineyard's diversity.
The vineyard stretches from the Chablisien in the north, known for its taut, mineral whites, to the Mâconnais in the south, offering accessible, gourmet cuvées. In between, the Côte de Nuits is the realm of great reds, while the Côte de Beaune excels in both reds and whites. The Côtes Chalonnaises complete the picture with wines offering excellent value for money.

A Petit Chablis full of pep! Very fresh with its lemon notes, it goes down easily at the aperitif with gougères. Great value for money.
