In the cool, dry Waihopai Valley in Marlborough, Catalina Sounds’ Sound of White vineyard crafts wines that let the terroir speak. This New Zealand Chardonnay comes from hand-harvested grapes, with a gentle approach: delicate pressing, natural fermentation in 500 L barrels, then 11 months of aging on fine lees to build texture and complexity.
The result? An intense and refined New Zealand Chardonnay, awarded 92 points by Wine Enthusiast, combining dessert spices, stone fruit, chalk, roasted hazelnut, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, vibrant acidity and elegant minerality stretch into a long, lingering finish. A perfect match for ceviche, roasted salmon, goat cheese, or creamy pasta.
