Holdvölgy Culture Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos 2013 is crafted from premium botrytized Furmint and Hárslevelű grapes, harvested from the finest plots of the Tokaj terroir. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Residual sugar: 191.3 g/L, total acidity: 7.4 g/L, alcohol: 11%. The 2013 vintage stands out for its richness and balance. Founded in 2004 by Pascal Demko, the Holdvölgy estate spans 28 hectares across seven crus in Mád, at the heart of Tokaj. Renowned for its commitment to excellence, it offers a diverse range of wines, from vibrant dry whites to exceptional sweet wines, highlighting the richness of the volcanic soils. The aging cellar dates back to the 14th century and is one of the longest in the region. The estate also offers a modern and accessible range, 'Hold and Hollo', which captivates with its young, fresh, and dynamic style.
On the nose, it reveals pineapple, coconut, and a subtle touch of mint. On the palate, its generous body unveils a smooth texture and a complexity that slowly unfolds over time. It pairs beautifully with pan-seared foie gras, a Christmas yule log, panettone, or chocolate truffles. Serve between 10°C and 12°C. Aging potential: 15 to 20 years.

Tokaj, une région viticole classée au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO, se trouve à 2h30 de Budapest, au nord-est de la Hongrie. Cette terre réunit en son sein des éléments précieux à la culture du raisin. Un microclimat, un sol volcanique, et la présence d’un champignon peu connu, le botrytis : la pourriture noble. Ce dernier transforme les raisins trop mûrs en baies flétries et participe à la vinification des vins moelleux de la région, appelés aszú. Ces derniers, avec leurs arômes et sucres concentrés, sont le produit phare du Tokaj. La région ajoute à son palmarès de vins blancs le Furmint sec ou le Tokaji Eszencia.
