Archery Summit Vireton Pinot Noir 2021 comes from select plots in the Willamette Valley on volcanic soils. Aged 3 to 6 months in oak barrels, 11% new, this wine combines vinification in stainless steel, concrete and wood tanks to express the diversity of local microclimates. pH 3.57, total acidity 5.3 g/L. Archery Summit, founded in 1993 in the Willamette Valley, specialises in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Led by Chris Mazepink and owned by the Crimson Wine Group, the estate covers 50 hectares across the Dundee Hills and Ribbon Ridge terroirs. With demanding viticulture and organic practices, Archery Summit produces elegant and refined wines in a Burgundy-inspired style.
On the nose, raspberry, cranberry and redcurrant, enriched with oak notes and earthy spices. On the palate, it reveals irresistible juiciness driven by vibrant fruit and perfect harmony. It pairs with duck tacos or roasted fig and goat's cheese pizza. Serve at 14°C. Ageing potential of 5 to 8 years.
United States
Oregon is a wine region in the Pacific Northwest of the United States that has become one of the most prestigious producers of Pinot Noir over the years. Its success lies in the fruity, vibrant taste of its luxurious Pinot Noir. With the most marginal climate on the East Coast, the region is subject to climatic variations that make the vintages vary considerably.
This is a crowd-pleasing Pinot with energy and charm. Fresh red berries, subtle earth, and spice make it perfect for any table — no decanting needed.
Ripe cherry, raspberry, and hints of clove glide over a silky texture with vibrant acidity. Vireton 2021 is beautifully balanced and effortlessly drinkable — a joy from start to finish.
