Shaw + Smith Sauvignon Blanc 2024
Shaw + Smith Sauvignon Blanc 2024
Price: 21,67€
DESCRIPTION
A benchmark for Shaw + Smith, this 100% Sauvignon Blanc comes from the cool slopes of the Adelaide Hills in South Australia, where the cool climate preserves the variety's tension and aromatics. The wine has an alcohol content of approximately 12%, a moderate level that underscores the freshness and drinkability characteristic of this iconic style.
The nose reveals notes of lychee, orange blossom, freshly cut grass, candied lime, and a flinty mineral edge. The palate, light to medium-bodied, offers precise acidity with hints of green apple, grapefruit, and lemon zest. A wine to be served chilled (8-10°C), ideal as an aperitif or with cheeses such as cheddar or Gruyère, and more broadly with seafood dishes.
