The 'Grenade' cuvée delivers on its promise of a fruit explosion. It was born from a collaboration with partner winegrowers in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. The blend highlights Malbec (40%), bringing a delicious richness and juicy character that sets it apart from more traditional Bordeaux wines. It is an instant-pleasure wine crafted at DARWIN's urban winery.
Made from organically grown, hand-harvested grapes, this wine is a blend of 40% Malbec, 30% Merlot, and 30% Cabernet Franc. Aged for one year in stainless steel tanks, it preserves the fruity and juicy personality of the 2023 vintage. Crafted with indigenous yeasts and unfiltered, the result is a wine of pure expression with fine, velvety tannins.
'Grenade' is a truly indulgence-driven cuvée. The nose opens with intense notes of blackcurrant and redcurrant accompanied by a hint of pepper. On the palate, it is a real 'crunchy fruit bomb' leading into a spicy finish. The tannins are fine and silky, offering immediate delight. It is the perfect wine for an apéritif, a barbecue, or a spread of tapas.
