Torbreck Woodcutters Shiraz 2023 reveals the energy of Barossa's young vineyards. The 2023 vintage, cooler than normal, brings an aromatic freshness and an elegant tension rarely seen at this price point. 100% Shiraz, grown on varied soils combining clay, sand, and gravel, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. It features 15% alcohol, a pH of 3.62, and 5.95 g/L of total acidity. Aging potential of 10 years.
On the nose, raspberry, black cherry, plum, and spices. On the palate, a supple, velvety, and warming texture, with silky tannins and a long, harmonious finish. Ideal pairing with lamb with herbs or roasted Bresse poultry.
