Kanonkop Wines are famed throughout South Africa for their consistent quality, purity and finesse. The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is dark and brooding and the aromas arising from the glass are hugely complex. Wet tobacco, oak spice, blackberry coulis, chai tea and fresh soil combine in the bouquet. The palate is equally diverse - you may decipher sweet raspberry and morello cherry with roasted coffee beans. All of these notes play out on a delicate latticework of tannins. Think sauce-heavy meals and steak.
