Ten Minutes by Tractor Down the Hill Pinot Noir 2021 is sourced exclusively from vineyards located in the lower part of the Mornington Peninsula (Tuerong sector, altitude around 50m), notably the Coolart Road vineyard. This 2021 vintage was marked by the influence of La Niña, with a wet spring followed by a cooler summer favoring a slow and steady ripening, producing fruit of great concentration and beautiful natural acidity. This wine stands in contrast to the Up the Hill with its power and darker fruit character.
On the nose, a bouquet of stewed fruits and light notes of grilled fennel and rosemary, evolving into an elaborate and brooding Pinot Noir style. On the palate, firmer, darker, and more full-bodied than the Up the Hill version. Notes of satsuma plum, cherry, cranberry sauce, and fine, plush tannins that linger for a long time. Amaro, herbs and nuts, black cherry fruit with oak spices and a touch of mint. Ideal pairing with Peking duck or braised beef with mushrooms.
